TranSend exhibit at FORS Conference 2018

TranSend Solutions are a FORS Associate exhibiting at the third FORS Members’ Conference on 16 October 2018 at the National Conference Centre, Birmingham.

The main theme of the third FORS Members’ Conference will be 10 years of evolving best practice and is free to attend for FORS members.

TranSend Solutions already works with a number of FORS members, including Wincanton, Adelie Foods and Tardis Environmental and, as a FORS Associate, our aim is to ensure that their delivery fleet is being run safely, as efficiently as possible and in an environmentally sound manner.

The TranSend app includes comprehensive functionality to manage compliance, including a vehicle check and defect management procedure that complies with DVSA and FORS guidelines with walk-around checks and vehicle defect reporting in real time. The app can be deployed on Android and iOS devices to monitor and manage product and service deliveries, including subcontractors and mobile field workers.

Defects identified are recorded on the driver’s devices during the vehicle check process and this generates an intelligent back-office workflow to monitor and manage vehicle and driver safety, including VOR status with full history of defect maintenance from identification through to resolution.  Flexible workflow uses defect categories and severity to automate the defect management process as appropriate.

TranSend Route Planning provides optimised routes, taking into account number of orders, weights and volumes, locations, fleet size and availability and customer promises.
